General Terms and Conditions for the Aximpro Football Club

1. Scope
These General Terms and Conditions (GTC) apply to participation in the football prediction game offered on the website football-club.io. The prediction game is organized by Aximpro Deutschland GmbH, Heckenweg 4, 83714 Miesbach. By registering for the prediction game, the participant agrees to these GTCs.
2. Eligibility
Natural persons who have reached the age of 18 are eligible to participate. Participation is free of charge and independent of the purchase of goods or services. Employees of Aximpro and their relatives are not excluded from participation but are not eligible to receive prizes. Participants are specifically invited by Aximpro or can apply for participation in the prediction game on the website. Aximpro reserves the right to verify eligibility and to reject or exclude participants without providing reasons.
3. Game Rules
The prediction game involves submitting predictions for the results of football matches displayed on the website. Predictions must be submitted before the respective match begins. Points are awarded for each correct prediction according to a predefined scheme. Points are automatically updated after each match and displayed in a leaderboard on the website. The prediction game ends with the conclusion of the Championship League 2024/25. Additionally, there are football quiz questions on matchdays and weekends where participants can earn points. The participant with the most points at the end of the prediction game is the winner. In the event of a tie, the winner will be determined by a draw.
Participants may apply up to three boosters per matchday to double their points for selected matches. Boosters may only be applied after predictions have been submitted. During the League Phase, participants are permitted to use up to three boosters per matchday. In the Knockout Phase, the allowance is reduced to two boosters during the Round of 16 and one booster from the Quarter Finals onward. Once a booster has been applied to a match, it will result in double points for that particular match and cannot be altered or removed. Participants are advised to make their selections with care.
Participants will have the opportunity to earn double points during the semifinals and finals of the Championship League. This offers a significant chance to enhance one’s ranking on the leaderboard as the competition draws to a close.
4. Prizes and Taxation
Prizes consist of material rewards described on the website. If Aximpro employees or their relatives finish in the top 10, the other places will be ranked up. Winners will be notified by email after the end of the prediction game and must provide their address within 14 days to claim their prize. Otherwise, the prize claim will expire. Prizes will be sent by post within four weeks after receiving the address. Cash payouts or exchanges of prizes are not possible. Winners are responsible for the taxation of their prizes.
5. Liability
Aximpro is not liable for damages caused by errors, delays, or interruptions in transmission, technical equipment and service failures, incorrect content, data loss or deletion, viruses, or other issues arising during participation in the prediction game unless such damages are caused by Aximpro (or their vicarious agents) intentionally or through gross negligence. Liability for damages resulting from injury to life, body, or health remains unaffected.
6. Data Protection
Participants' personal data are collected, processed, and used by Aximpro solely for the purpose of conducting and handling the prediction game. Data will only be shared with third parties as necessary for prize distribution. Participants can request information about the personal data stored about them at any time. Aximpro's privacy policy is available on the website.
7. Modification or Termination of the Prediction Game
Aximpro reserves the right to change or terminate the prediction game at any time without prior notice and without providing reasons. This applies especially if the proper execution of the prediction game cannot be guaranteed for technical or legal reasons. Participants have no claims against Aximpro in such cases.
8. Legal Recourse
Legal recourse is excluded.
9. Applicable Law
The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies.
Additional Terms for the Aximpro Football Club
Who: This prediction game platform is open to all invited members of the Aximpro Football Club. Employees of Aximpro and affiliated companies are not eligible to receive prizes. The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies, as the organizer is based in Germany.
When: The Aximpro Football Club campaign is valid for predictions made during the runtime of the Champions League 2024/25.
How: To qualify for the prediction game, participants must have accepted these Terms and Conditions on the program landing page.
What: Participants can earn points based on their predictions and quiz answers as described in the game rules.
Data: This campaign will make use of data from an API provider to determine the outcome of games. Data will be drawn within 30 days after the incentive campaign has ended.
Rewards: Winners will receive their rewards in the form of points, they will represent a given prize, stated in our prizes and rules section. Please note that Aximpro employers and subsidiaries are excluded from the prizes, and individuals will be prioritized accordingly.
Rights: Aximpro DE and AT reserve the right to terminate or amend this campaign without notice.
